.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20I've%20had%20some%20sporadic%20posts%20lately%20on%20here%20and%20I%20hope%20everyone%20is%20sticking%20with%20me%20because%20I'm%20planning%20some%20other%20fun%20desserts%20and%20breads%20for%20future%20posts.%20I%20came%20up%20with%20this%20idea%20a%20few%20weeks%20ago%20and%20thought%20it%20would%20be%20fun%20to%20try.%20The%20combination%20of%20flavors%20really%20to%20remind%20me%20of%20a%20cinnamon%20roll%20but%20the%20result%20isn't%20as%20sticky.%20There%20are%20a%20lot%20of%20fun%20ways%20to%20mix%20up%20this%20recipe%20too%20to%20match%20your%20tastes.%20You%20could%20add%20nuts%20to%20the%20filling,%20such%20as%20pecans%20or%20walnuts.%20Orange%20zest%20would%20also%20make%20a%20lovely%20addition.%20If%20you're%20feeling%20really%20crazy,%20you%20could%20leave%20the%20cinnamon%20out%20of%20the%20filling%20and%20add%20some%20chocolate%20chips!%20(I%20may%20have%20to%20try%20that%20soon).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20really%20happy%20with%20how%20soft%20the%20rolls%20came%20out%20and%20how%20easy%20it%20was%20to%20work%20with%20while%20shaping%20them.%20It%20didn't%20require%20much%20flour%20on%20the%20cutting%20board%20and%20wasn't%20sticky%20so%20these%20went%20pretty%20quick%20and%20without%20much%20frustration.%20You%20also%20don't%20need%20to%20roll%20them%20with%20a%20rolling%20pin,%20you%20can%20just%20shape%20them%20with%20your%20hands%20and%20press%20them%20into%20the%20circles.%20Be%20careful%20when%20you're%20pinching%20the%20dough%20around%20the%20filling,%20you%20don't%20want%20it%20to%20squeeze%20out%20anywhere.%20I%20made%20these%20separately%20on%20a%20cookie%20sheet%20but%20if%20you%20really%20wanted%20to%20you%20could%20probably%20bake%20them%20in%20an%208x8%20pan%20(cutting%20the%20circle%20into%209%20wedges%20instead%20of%208),%20then%20they%20would%20have%20touching%20sides%20like%20most%20cinnamon%20rolls%20do.%20I%20hope%20you%20love%20them%20as%20much%20as%20I%20do!%20Happy%20Baking!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInside%20Out%20Cinnamon%20Rolls%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%208%20rolls%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20the%20bowl%20of%20a%20mixer%20stir%20together%20the%20yeast%20and%20milk,%20let%20sit%20for%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3-5%20minutes.%20Stir%20in%201%20cup%20of%20flour,%20sugar,%20salt,%20butter,%20and%20the%20egg%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Euntil%20blended.%20Scrape%20the%20bowl,%20add%20in%20the%20remaining%20flour,%20and%20mix%20with%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20dough%20hook%204-5%20minutes%20or%20until%20a%20smooth%20dough%20is%20formed%20(It%20may%20be%20necessary%20to%20add%20an%20additional%202-4%20tablespoons%20of%20flour).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20dough%20in%20a%20lightly%20greased%20bowl%20in%20a%20warm%20place,%20covered%20with%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ea%20kitchen%20towel%20or%20plastic%20wrap.%20Let%20rise%20for%2045%20minutes%20or%20until%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ealmost%20doubled%20in%20size.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20the%20dough%20is%20rising%20prepare%20the%20filling%20and%20topping.%20Stir%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etogether%20the%20cream%20cheese,%20cinnamon,%20sugar,%20and%20vanilla%20until%20blended%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20fluffy%20(I%20used%20an%20immersion%20blender%20with%20a%20whisk%20attachment).%20In%20another%20small%20bowl,%20stir%20together%20the%20granulated%20sugar,%20light%20brown%20sugar,%20and%20cinnamon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPat%20the%20dough%20into%20a%20circle%20about%201%E2%80%9D%20thick,%20cut%20into%208%20wedges.%20Shape%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eeach%20wedge%20into%20a%20ball,%20then%20pat%20the%20ball%20to%20a%20disc%20about%204%E2%80%9D-4%20%C2%BD%E2%80%9D%20wide.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDollop%20about%201%20tablespoon%20of%20filling%20in%20the%20middle%20and%20fold%20up%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esides,%20pinching%20them%20together%20to%20form%20a%20ball%20again.%20Set%20on%20a%20cookie%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esheet,%20seam%20side%20down.%20Repeat%20with%20the%20remaining%20dough%20wedges.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrush%20the%20balls%20of%20dough%20with%20the%20melted%20butter%20and%20sprinkle%20with%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebrown%20sugar%20mixture,%20pressing%20it%20lightly%20into%20the%20top%20of%20the%20dough.%20Let%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erise%20for%20about%2030%20minutes%20covered%20with%20a%20kitchen%20towel.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E6.%20Preheat%20oven%20to%20350F.%20Bake%20for%2018-20%20minutes%20or%20until%20golden%20brown.%20Cool%20for%20several%20minutes%20before%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20recipe%20may%20be%20linked%20up%20to:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon't%20forget%20to%20follow%20me%20on%20Blog%20Lovin'%20or%20using%20one%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20buttons%20at%20the%20top%20of%20the%20page%20so%20you%20don't%20miss%20a%20recipe!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
