Ингредиенты

  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 x egg Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 sm onion
  • 1 tsp sugar

Инструкции

  1. Sift together meal, flour, salt, baking pwdr and sugar. Beat in the egg and add in sufficient sweet lowfat milk to make a stiff batter. Stir in minced onion. Drop by tsp. full into warm fat (not boiling) and cook till brown. Drain.
  2. Makes 10 to 15 hush puppies. Nice to serve with seafoods.
