Ингредиенты

  • 1 quart Skim lowfat milk
  • 2 quart Water
  • 4 x Cinnamon sticks
  • 1/4 c. Rice flour, see directions
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla

Инструкции

  1. If you don't have rice flour use 1/3 c. raw white rice crushed to a pwdr in the blender.
  2. Pour the lowfat milk in a wide skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer cook, stirring frequently, till reduced by half, 20-30 min. Strain in a large sauce pan and add in the water and cinnamon sticks.
  3. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook 5 min. Remove from the heat and let sit 15 min. Remove the cinnamon sticks and reserve.
  4. Combine the rice flour, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Pour in the lowfat milk mix & whisk to incorporate well. Chill at least 4 hrs. Then pour the liquid into a pitcher, throw away the sediment which has settled on the bottom the bowl. Serve cool over ice with cinnamon sticks.
  5. Can be used as a cocktail by adding Kahlua.
