Honey Spiced Chicken With Orange Sauce

Ингредиенты

  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 med. onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon grnd nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Orange slices
  • 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. chicken pcs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
  • 1 tbsp. cool water

Инструкции

  1. Heat oil in skillet. Cook chicken till brown. Place in ungreased dish. Top with onions, sprinkle with salt, paprika and pepper. Mix orange juice, honey, lemon juice, ginger and nutmeg. Pour over chicken. Cover, cook at 350 degrees 45 to 60 min. Put chicken and onions on platter. Pour pan juices into saucepan. Heat to boiling. Mix water and cornstarch. Stir into juices. Thicken. Serve with chicken. 6 to 8 servings.
