Рецепт Honey Buttermilk Biscuits
Adapted from "Texas Highways Magazine."
Ингредиенты
- 2 cups AP flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 cup cold butter flavor Crisco, or cold butter
- 2 tbs. honey
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- Topping: 1 tbs. melted butter mixed with 1 tsp honey
Инструкции
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Mix together dry ingredients.
- Mix honey with buttermilk.
- Cut Crisco into dry ingredients and work until dough is small pea size.
- Fold in buttermilk mix.
- Using a spatula, press the dough against the side of the bowl.
- Remove to the counter and press or roll dough until 1" high.
- Cut and place biscuits next to each other in a pan.
- Bake until golden brown - 10 to 12 minutes.
- Brush honey butter on tops.
