1 egg 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk 1 1/4 c. flour 1 teaspoon sugar

2 tbsp. soft shortening 1 1/2 tbsp. baking pwdr 1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Mix all ingredients together. Let batter thicken by waiting about 5 min. Heat griddle or possibly pan, then pour in batter. Makes: 8 pancakes.
