- Cut steak into six equal pcs; coat with 2 Tbsp. flour. In skillet brown in warm oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place in crockery cooker. Dissolve bouillon in warm water; combine with carrot, sugar and thyme. Pour over stak. Cover; cook on high-heat setting for 4 hrs. Remove meat to platter; keep hot. Measure liquid; add in water to make 3/4 c.. Pour into saucepan. blend 1/4 c. cool water into 2 Tbsp. flour. Stir into liquid; add in salt and Kitchen Bougues.
- Cook and stir until thickened. Serve over meat.
- Serves 6.
