Hemp Heart Cookies

Looking for a healthy Valentine’s Day treat…this is it!! Gluten free, dark chocolate, hemp hearts and coconut oil. Heart healthy!!

Ингредиенты

  • 3 oz. of coconut oil (slightly warmed)
  • 1/2 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup gluten free flour blend
  • 1/2 cup hemp hearts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • Dark chocolate for dipping (melted)
  • Decorations (if you like)

Инструкции

  1. Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl
  2. Beat coconut oil and sugar with a mixer until smooth
  3. Blend egg and vanilla, then add to mixture
  4. Add the flour mixture and blend
  5. Add the hemp hearts and mix in
  6. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and place in fridge for 1 hour
  7. Remove and let get to room temperature before rolling
  8. Preheat oven to 350º F
  9. Roll cookie dough on silicone mat (slightly floured) to 1/4" thickness
  10. Cut into shapes
  11. Place on baking tray and bake for approximately 9 minutes
  12. Cool for 5 minutes and move to cooling rack
  13. When completely cool, dip in melted dark chocolate and decorate
  14. Lay on silicone mat
  15. Let harden
  16. ENJOY!!
