- 1/2 lb vanilla wafers, crushed and rolled fine
- 1 stk butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 pt whipping cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 9 ounce crushed pineapple, liquid removed
- 1 c. pecans
- 12 x maraschino cherries or possibly other fruit, such as strawberries

- Place half wafer crumbs in bottom of a 13 inch by 9 inch pan. Cream butter, Large eggs and sugar. Spread over crumbs. Whip cream; add in vanilla, pineapple and nuts.
- Spread over butter mix. Add in remaining crumbs. Cover and chill overnight.
- Top each serving with one piece of fruit.
