- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c. hot water; set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine lowfat milk, butter, sugars and salt; heat till hot, approximately 110 deg. Remove from heat, place in a large mixing bowl and blend in yeast mix. Stir in 5 c. of flour and mix well.
- Lightly beat 4 Large eggs and add in to dough; mix will be sticky. Set aside to let rise till double in bulk.
- Knead dough, adding sufficient remaining flour till dough is elastic and no longer sticky. Form into 2 round loaves and place in greased pie or possibly round cake pans. Let rise again till double in bulk.
- Combine remaining egg and one tbsp. of water; beat well and brush over risen loaves. Bake at 350 for 40 to 50 min.
- Yield: 2 loaves.
