Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 lb Fresh tomatillos, husked & Minced
  • 1/2 lb Serrano chilies, seeded & Minced
  • 1 lb Roasted Sandia green chilies Seeded & minced
  • 1/3 bn Fresh cilantro, minced
  • 3 x Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 med Onion, diced
  • 2 quart Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Salt
  • 3 Tbsp. Fresh-squeezed lime juice

Инструкции

  1. Put all ingredients except salt and lime Juice in a large kettle and bring to a light boil. Cook for 30 min. Strain into large bowl Place solid ingredients in blender. Add in half (about 3 c.) of the strained liquid.
  2. Blend till smooth (You may, have to do this in batches ) Add in lime juice and salt and blend for 30 seconds. Refrigerateand serve.
  3. Makes about 2 qts.
