- Fit bottom crust into 9 inch pie pan. Fill with sliced apples. Combine cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, sugar, melted butter, and Karo syrup; pour over apples. Cover with top crust.
- Bake in 425 degree oven 45 min, or possibly till crust is browned and apples are tender. Remove from oven.
- Combine topping ingredients; spread over top of pie. Return to oven for 10 min, or possibly till topping is bubbly. NOTE: Put this on a dripping pan when baking the topping, it runs!
