A good hearty soup for cold weather. This is from a really old cookbook that I love.
Ингредиенты
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. potatoes, diced
- 1 c. carrots, sliced
- 1 c. cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 c. celery, sliced
- 1/4 c raw rice
- 3 c. water
- 4 tsp. salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 lb. can tomatoes

- Cook meat and onion together until lightly brown. Drain and mix all ingredients in kettle; bring to boil, voer and simmer at least 1 hour.
