- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. hot (not warm) water
- 3/4 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. cool water
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Инструкции
- Dissolve yeast in hot water. Cold lowfat milk to lukewarm by adding cool water. Add in shortening, sugar and salt to lowfat milk. Blend in unbeaten egg and dissolved yeast. Add in flour, stir till well blended. Let rise in hot place for about 1 hour. Stir down and spoon into greased muffin pans. Let rise again. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 min. Quick and easy, no kneading.
