- 1 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. cocoa
- 3/4 c. walnuts
- 6 ounce. chocolate bits
- Graham crackers

- Cream shortening, add in sugar and Large eggs. Sift flour, salt and soda. Add in vanilla to lowfat milk and combine alternately with the dry ingredients. Divide the batter into two bowls. Add in cocoa and nuts to one and chocolate bits to the other. Put first mix in 13"x9" pan; cover with graham crackers; put the other mix on top. Bake for 25 min at 400 degrees. Makes cake-like half chocolate and half vanilla bar.
