- 1 lrg guava (not too ripe) Sufficient boiled water Juice from 1/2 lime Sufficient basic syrup or possibly to taste
- 150 ml ice-cream soda Ice cubes

- Method:CUT guava into halves; remove seeds. Cut into chunks. Liquidise guava chunks in an electric blender with just sufficient water. Puree till fine then strain the juice.
- Mix all the other ingredients together and serve chilled.
- Basic SyrupHow to prepare basic syrup:1 c. sugar1 c. water2 pandan leaves - knotted
- Method:PLACE sugar, water and pandan leaves in a deep saucepan. Bring to the boil, lower heat and simmer till sugar is dissolved. Remove pandan leaves and strain the syrup. Leave to cold for use as a basic syrup. You can store the basic syrup in a bottle in the refrigerator.
