- Cut shortening into flour. Beat egg. Add in water and vinegar. Pour liquid over flour mix and combine with fork. Wrapped in foil, this dough will keep indefinitely in the refrigerator. Makes four 9 inch single crusts deep dish or possibly two 9 inch double crusts deep dish.
