Golden Secret Meatloaf

It might sound weird, but the secret ingredient add lots of moisture without any addition flavor or fat.

Ингредиенты

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 c. coarse soft bread crumbs
  • 1 c. applesauce
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 4 ounce. Cheddar cheese

Инструкции

  1. Combine bread crumbs, applesauce, salt, nutmeg and pepper.
  2. Add in ground beef, onion and egg.
  3. Mix lightly but thoroughly.
  4. Cut cheese into 1/2 inch cubes and fold into meat mix.
  5. Pack into a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour 15 min.
  7. Let stand 10 min before removing from pan.
