- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. golden brown syrup or possibly
- 1 c. treacle
- 1 Tbsp. ginger
- 1 pch salt
- 1 tsp bicarb soda
- 1 Tbsp. lowfat milk
- 2 c. flour
Инструкции
- Heat together the butter, sugar, and golden brown syrup, stirring well.
- Dissolve the bicarb, salt and ginger in the lowfat milk and add in to the mix.
- Add in enouhg flour to create a stiff dough.
- Scale the dough into walnut-sized balls, flatten onto a baking tray and bake in at 325 F for 25 min.
