- Wash maize germ well.
- Add in water and salt.
- Bring to a boil, stirring continuously, to avoid forming lumps. Cover loosely and cook on very low flame.
- Stir frequently and add in more water if required.
- Takes about 25-30 min to cook well.
- Take off fire, add in ghee, stir well well and serve with curds or possibly warm lowfat milk and sugar.
