Ингредиенты

  • 2 doz Live Fresh Mussels, de-bearded and scrubbed clean
  • 8 clv garlic, minced fine, then crushed
  • 1 x Lemon, fresh squeezed for juice
  • 1 lrg Can Whole Tomatoes, with juice
  • 3/4 c. Dry White Wine
  • 1/2 c. Fresh Parsley, finely minced
  • 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh Basil, minced
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh Oregano,
  • 1 lrg Loaf Italian Bread, sliced

  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat; cook garlic (about 30 seconds), then add in Mussels and cook (2 min); add in lemon juice, tomatoes, wine, parsley, basil and oregano and simmer till Mussels open
  2. (1-2 min more). Pour Mussels, with sauce, over slices of toasted Italian bread in large soup serving bowls.
  3. serves 4
