Ингредиенты

  • 2 tsp grnd cumin
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
  • 1 tsp grnd coriander
  • 1 tsp dry thyme
  • 2 x garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 3/4 c. dry apricots, cut into halves
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. sherry
  • 1 pkt MAGGI Apricot Sauce Mix
  • 1 tsp MAGGI Onion Stock Pwdr
  • 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 700 gm lamb leg steaks, cut into 2 cm cubes

Инструкции

  1. Combine all the marinade ingredients in a plastic bag.
  2. Add in the lamb and mix well.
  3. Remove the air and seal the bag with a twist tie. Chill for 3 hrs.
  4. While the meat is marinating, prepare the dry fruit. Place the apricots and raisins in a bowl. Add in the sherry and stand for 3 hrs.
  5. Place the lamb and marinade in a casserole dish. Add in the dry fruit and any remaining sherry.
  6. Place the sauce mix and stock pwdr in a bowl. Add in the boiling water and whisk till smooth.
  7. Pour over the meat mix and stir thoroughly. Cover the casserole.
  8. Cook in a preheated oven, 170 C for 11/4-11/2 hrs or possibly till the lamb is tender. Serve with rice.
