Ингредиенты

  • 3 med ripe, red tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grnd black pepper
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. minced fresh basil
  • 4 x cloves garlic, cut in half
  • 8 slc Vienna bread, 1/2- to 3/4 inch thick
  • 1/3 c. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil

Инструкции

  1. In small bowl, combine tomatoes with salt and freshly grnd black pepper, onion and basil and mix well. Toast bread; rub one side of each bread slice with cut side of garlic clove and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Top bread with tomato mix. Serve immediately.
  2. Makes 8 servings. (Note: Nuts, cheese, roasted eggplant slices, sauteed mushrooms, capers and olives make good additions to bruschetta.)
