Fresh Plum Chutney Ming Tsai

Ингредиенты

  • Canola oil or possibly spray
  • 2 x red onions diced
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped ginger
  • 2 x chopped Thai bird chiles or possibly less to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar or possibly more to taste
  • 8 x plums, pitted peeled and diced
  • 1/2 c. plum wine or possibly sherry Salt and black pepper to taste

  1. In a saucepan add in a little oil and caramelize onions with ginger. Add in chiles, sugar and plums. Season. Stir for 5 min then deglaze with wine. Simmer on low heat till most of the wine is evaporated. Check for seasoning.
  2. Makes about 1 c.: each 146 CALS, 1G FAT (7% CFF)
  3. NOTES : This is my kind of chutney - fresh! not stewed. not crystallized.
