This is a yummy fish cooked in sweet soy sauce that is to be eaten with plain white rice and mixed vegetables or omlette.

- Marinade the fish slices with salt, a pinch of turmeric powder and a teaspoon of chili powder.
- Pound Item 2 in a mortar & pestle.
- Fry the fish on both sides and keep aside.
- In a separate wok, heat oil and saute Item 2 and the 1/2 tomato for about 2-3minutes. Then add about 4 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1/2 cup of water.
- Add in the fishes, making sure the soy sauce mixture coats well and salt to taste. Let is simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with plain white rice coupled with stir-fry vegetables and omelete.
