- 550 gm Plain chocolate, (1 1/2 lb)
- 225 x Butter, (8 ounce)
- 3 x Large eggs
- 2 Tbsp. Freshly made strong coffee
- 225 gm Caster sugar, (8 ounce)
- 75 gm Flour, (3 ounce)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 175 gm Walnuts, (6 ounce), minced
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence

- Method.
- 1. Grease and line a baking tin - 22 x 29.5 cm by 19 x 26.5 cm. Pre-heat oven to 190*C (375*F), gas mark 5
- 2. chop up half the chocolate and heat the other half with the butter
- 3. Mix the Large eggs, coffee and sugar together in a large bowl, then beat in the melted chocolate. Mix in the flour, salt, walnuts, vanilla, and minced chocolate and pour into tin
- 4)Bake for 45 minutes or possibly till just hard to centre.
