  • 1/2 x Basic Dough in cookbook
  • 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate pcs
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts

Инструкции

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease oblong pan, 13x9x2 inches. To one half Basic Dough, fold in 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats and 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed). (Dough will be crumbly.) Pat firmly and proportionately into prepared pan. Bake about 15 min or possibly till no imprint remains when lightly touched with finger. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate pcs proportionately over crust. Place baking sheet over pan so contained heat will soften chocolate pcs. Spread softened chocolate proportionately over crust; sprinkle with 1/2 c. minced nuts. While hot, cut into 1 1/2-inch diamond shapes.
  2. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
  3. Yield: 2 1/2 dozen
