- Parboil beans in boiling water about 3 min and drain. ( I used Safeway select that were very sweet and tender and did not require much cooking.
- Cook carrots in boiling water till tender about 5 min. Drain. Mix Chinese lemon chicken sauce as directed on package. Pour into zip lock bag and add in beans. Seal and mix to coat beans and refrigerateovernight. Heat margarine and add in minced parsley. Pour into zip lock bag and add in carrots.
- Mix to coat carrots and refrigerateovernight. Place beans in center of platter.
- Arrange carrots around the beans and garnish with red pepper strips. Emilie
