- 3 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. egg nog
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 egg
- (3/4 c. nuts or possibly candied fruit - optional)

- Sift flour, sugar, baking pwdr, salt and nutmeg. Combine: egg nog, egg and melted butter. Stir in dry ingredients. Add in nuts or possibly fruit. Pour into 2 greased bread pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 min.
