Ингредиенты

  • 1 1/2 lbs. tenderized steaks
  • 6 tbsp. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Crisco or possibly oil
  • 2 c. tomato juice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 c. minced celery
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Инструкции

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a paper bag. Place steak (2 at a time) in paper bag and shake to coat with flour.
  2. Low heat - heat oil, brown meat on both sides. Saute/fry to soften onion and celery. Add in remaining ingredients to pan, then add in steak. Cover tightly. Simmer till tender about an hour. Serve with rice and 2nd vegetable.
