2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs 1 sm. apple, peeled, cored, and minced (1/2 c.) 2 tbsp. raisins 2 tbsp. finely minced onion

1/8 teaspoon dry sage, crushed 2 tbsp. apple cider 8 pork loin chops, cut 1/2 inch thick 1/2 of a 1 ounce. env. (4 tsp.) brown gravy mix

1. In a 4-c. glass measure heat the butter in a microwave oven on high for 45-60 seconds. Add in the bread crumbs, apple, raisins, onion, sage, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Toss to mix. Add in 1 Tbsp. cider to moisten. Arrange 4 chops in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Spoon the apple mix over each chop. Place the remaining chops atop stuffing. Combine gravy mix with the remaining cider; brush over chops. Micro-cook, covered, on medium high 14-18 min or possibly till chops are tender. To serve, transfer chops to a platter. Serves 4.
