- Heat butter over low heat in heavy saucepan. Blend in flour and seasonings. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly till mix is smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in lowfat milk; return to range and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Cook till thickened. After removing from heat, gradually beat in egg yolks. Then beat in melted butter and lemon juice. Serve immediately.
