- 1 c. butter (2 sticks)
- 2 c. sugar (brown)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 c. cool coffee (strong)
- 3 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. raisins
- 3 c. apples (diced)
- 1 c. walnuts
- 4 T Half & Half (or possibly evaporated lowfat milk)
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. brown sugar
Инструкции
- Cream butter and sugar thoroughly, then add in large eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add in alternately with the coffee. Mix in raisins, apple and nuts. Bake in 9 x 13 pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. WATCH. After cake is baked and while still warm, frost with the following:
- Put together and spread over top of cake and place under broiler till frosting bubbles. (Watch which it doesn't burn.)
