- 2 x onions sliced
- 4 lb pork roast or possibly fresh picnic shoulder - (to 5 lbs)
- 5 whl cloves - (to 6)
- 2 c. water
- 1 bot barbecue sauce - (12 ounce)
- 1 lrg onion minced

- Put one of the sliced onions in bottom of the crock-pot then add in meat and remaining ingredients with the other sliced onion on top. Cover and cook this on low overnight or possibly from 8 to 12 hrs.
- Take meat out of crock-pot and remove fat and bones. ut the meat back into crock-pot. Add in minced onion and barbecue sauce. Cover and cook an additional 3 to 5 hrs on high or possibly 8 to 12 hrs on low stirring 2 or possibly 3 times during cooking. Serve from crock pot on large buns.
- Coleslaw is marvelous with this.
- Comments: Pull the meat apart before adding the sauce mix and by the time it gets finished it is a wonderful texture.
