- 1 1/3 c. shortening NOT BUTTER
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3 Large eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 lg. bag chocolate chips

- Mix by hand. Cream shortening and sugars together add in Large eggs, one at a time, add in vanilla, add in dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Make into balls. Flatten and bake for not more than 10 min at 350 degrees.
