- Put together all ingredients; mix well. Place in a buttered Pyrex dish. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 min.Sauce: 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup light syrup, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 cup butter, 1 cup cream, and 1/2 tsp vanilla.
- Put together sugar, syrup, salt, butter, and 1/2 cup cream in a saucepan; mix well. Cook over low heat, stirring, to a soft ball stage. Stir in remaining cream. Cook till smooth. Remove from heat and add in vanilla. Cool and serve. 6 servings.
