- Soak beans in 4 c. of water overnight, after washing them thoroughly. Keep the water for cooking and add in 4 more c. of water. Fry slightly the onions, green peppers and garlic in extra virgin olive oil.
- Combine all ingredients except vinegar. Cook on stove with low heat till beans are tender and the liquid has thickened. Takes 3-5 hrs. Serve over rice with vinegar and raw minced onions.
