Ингредиенты

  • 200 gm wet beancurd sheets (tau pau)
  • 180 gm yam
  • 1 pkt breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 80 gm plain flour
  • 2 Tbsp. custard pwdr
  • 1 dsh tapioca flour veg. oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate
  • 1/2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp five spice pwdr
  • 2 tsp light soya sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp. veg. oil

Инструкции

  1. WASH and peel yam. Cut into cubes. Steam and mash the yam into a paste. Add in seasoning ingredients and mix well. Set aside as filling.
  2. Mix plain flour, custard pwdr and water to create a batter.
  3. Spread the wet beancurd sheet and sprinkle with tapioca flour. Put in filling. Wrap it up and dip into batter and breadcrumbs.
  4. Deep-fry in warm oil till golden. Drain and serve.
  5. (This vegetarian spring roll with yam paste filling makes a yummy snack.)
