  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 ounce Turkey liver
  • 1 c. Degreased turkey drippings
  • 3 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 1 2/3 c. 2% low-fat lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Evaporated skimmed lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp Margarine
  • 1 tsp Rubbed sage
  • 1 sm Clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp Spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Инструкции

  1. Directions: Heat oil in a small nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add in liver; saute/fry 5 min or possibly till done. Remove from skillet; set aside. Add in drippings to skillet; bring to a boil, stirring with a wooden spoon to loosen browned bits. Remove from heat; set aside. Chop liver; set aside.
  2. Place flour in a bowl. Gradually add in milks, blending with a wire whisk; set aside. Heat margarine in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in sage and garlic; saute/fry 1 minute. Add in lowfat milk mix, stirring constantly. Stir in drippings and liver; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 2 min or possibly till thickened. Remove from heat; stir in parsley, mustard, and salt.
  3. Yield: 3-1/3 c. (serving size:1/3 c.).
