- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter

- 1-1/2 cups almond milk (you can use low-fat cow's milk - I just always use almond)
- 1/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa Powder
- 2/3 cups granulated sugar
- 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup Bailey's Irish Cream

,%20just%20the%20perfect%20end%20to%20an%20evening.%20%20I'm%20quite%20certain%20this%20would%20be%20just%20as%20yummy%20with%20a%20vanilla%20custard%20pudding%20in%20place%20of%20the%20chocolate.%20%20The%20shells%20themselves%20are%20slightly%20sweet%20and%20the%20dough%20was%20so%20easy%20to%20make!%20%20The%20recipe%20comes%20from%20my%20Cooking%20Light%20Holiday%20Cookbook%20(see,%20I%20told%20you%20it%20wasn't%20going%20to%20be%20bad%20for%20you!).%20%20I%20never%20have%20seen%20this%20method%20for%20making%20cream%20puff%20dough%20before%20but%20I%20promise%20you%20it%20is%20so%20easy%20that%20you%20will%20have%20no%20trouble%20doing%20it,%20not%20to%20mention%20it%20takes%20much%20less%20time%20so,%20make%20a%20batch%20of%20these%20little%20yummy%20puffs%20up%20and%20serve%20them%20up%20with%20your%20favorite%20fillings%20-%20savory%20or%20sweet!%20%20I%20can%20see%20these%20with%20a%20shrimp,%20crab,%20or%20chicken%20salad%20filling%20in%20place%20of%20the%20pudding.%20%20Perfect%20bites%20for%20the%20holidays%20that%20will%20not%20pack%20on%20the%20pounds!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFollowing%20the%20cream%20puff%20recipe%20is%20the%20pudding%20recipe....and%20feel%20free%20to%20serve%20the%20pudding%20in%20the%20little%20tasting%20parfaits%20(make%20sure%20to%20use%20the%20cute%20little%20tasting%20spoons%20too!).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhisk%20egg%20in%20a%20small%20bowl%20and%20set%20aside.%20%20In%20medium%20sized%20heavy%20bottomed%20saucepan,%20mix%20milk,%20cocoa,%20sugar,%20and%20cornstarch%20together.%20%20Add%20milk%20and%20whisk%20to%20combine.%20%20Cook%20over%20medium-low%20heat,%20stirring%20constantly%20until%20pudding%20thickens,%20about%205-7%20minutes.%20%20Remove%20from%20heat%20and%20pour%20one%20ladle%20of%20hot%20mixture%20into%20bowl%20with%20whisked%20egg,%20whisking%20constantly%20while%20pouring%20hot%20pudding%20into%20the%20egg.%20%20Return%20the%20egg%20mixture%20into%20the%20pudding%20mixture%20and%20blend%20well.%20%20Return%20to%20heat%20and%20cook%20until%20pudding%20just%20comes%20to%20a%20boil%20again.%20%20Remove%20from%20heat.%20%20Add%20butter%20and%20Irish%20Cream.%20%20Transfer%20pudding%20to%20another%20bowl%20and%20lay%20plastic%20wrap%20over%20top%20of%20the%20pudding%20to%20prevent%20skin%20from%20forming.%20%20Once%20cooled,%20use%20in%20cream%20puffs%20or%20serve%20in%20miniature%20parfait%20glasses.%20%20Serve%20any%20remaining%20pudding%20in%20refrigerator%20with%20plastic%20wrap%20covering%20top%20of%20pudding.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
