- Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add in rest of ingredients in order given. Beat well. Let rise till double. Punch down and divide into 3 pie pans. Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees till lightly brown. Split and fill when cooled.
- Mix the above together and set aside. Boil 1 minute 2 tbsp water and 1/4 cup white sugar. Add in to set aside mix. Cream in 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 cups Crisco. Fill coffee cake.
- Mix ingredients together till crumbly. Sprinkle over filled coffee cake.
