  • 1 doz shucked oysters Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 c. flour Creole seasoning see * Note

Инструкции

  1. Preheat the fryer to 360 degrees. Season the oysters with salt and pepper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the cornmeal and flour and season with Creole seasoning. Dredge the oysters in the flour/cornmeal mix, coating completely. Fry till crispy, 2 to 3 min.
  3. Remove from the fryer and drain on paper towels. Season with Essence.
