- 1 lb grnd beef
- 1 sm onion minced (1/4 c.)
- 1 x garlic clove finely minced
- 1 Tbsp. chili pwdr - (to 2)
- 1 Tbsp. Original Bisquick
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 can whole tomatoes - (14 1/2 ounce) undrained
- 1 can whole kernel corn - (16 ounce) liquid removed
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 c. Original Bisquick
- 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 x egg

- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook beef, onion and garlic in 2-qt saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently, till beef is brown; drain.
- Mix chili pwdr, 1 Tbsp. Bisquick and the water; stir into beef mix. Stir in tomatoes, corn and salt, breaking up tomatoes. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
- Pour into ungreased square baking dish, 8 by 8 by 2 inches, or possibly 2-qt casserole. Stir remaining ingredients till blended; pour over beef mix. Bake 50 to 60 min or possibly till crust is golden.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
- High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 50 to 55 min.
- Comments: Serve with a mixed-greens salad, red and green grapes and brownies for dessert.
