- 1 1/2 c. Corn-meal
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 2 c. Sour lowfat milk
- 2 x Large eggs, well beaten
- 3 Tbsp. Melted shortening

- Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt, baking soda, baking pwdr, and sugar. Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk, and shortening. Add in dry ingredients. Beat thoroughly. Fill well-oiled corn-stick pans 2/3 full. Bake in warm oven
