- 1 box angel food cake mix
- 1 T powdered instant coffee
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3-4 T lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
- 2 teaspoon instant coffee

- Prepare mix according to package directions; add in instant coffee to cake flour mix before adding egg whites. Bake as directed.
- Cream butter. Add in salt and sugar. Gradually add in lowfat milk and sugar and flavoring. Beat till light and fluffy. Add in instant coffee; mix well. Frost cake. Sprinkle cake with 1 1/2 cups sliced almonds.
