  • 2 1/2 lb Chuck Steak, 1 1/2" Thick Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 c. Scallions, Finely Minced
  • 1/2 c. Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 c. Catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. Prepared Mustard
  • 1 tsp Pepper, Freshly Grnd

  1. Place the steak in a dish and puncture with a fork in several places, then drizzle with the extra virgin olive oil. In a small saucepan, combine 2 tb extra virgin olive oil, the scallions, soy sauce, catsup, mustard, and pepper. Heat till well blend and it is just starting to boil. Meanwhile, grill the steak, 2 to 3 inches above warm coals, till browned on both sides, About 30 min for Medium-rare. Place the steak on a serving platter and carve across the grain in 1/4-inch slices. Serve 2 to 3 slices per person, with the sauce on the side.
