Ingredients: 2 c. raw finely grated carrots; 2 c. raw grated potatoes; 2 c. all-purpose flour; 2 c. white sugar; 1 1/2 c. seedless raisins; 1 c. currants; 1 1/2 c. minced suet; 1 tsp cloves; 1 tsp nutmeg; 1 tsp cinnamon; 2 tsp baking soda A few minced cherries if you like

Ингредиенты

2 c. raw finely grated carrots
2 c. raw grated potatoes
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
1 c. currants
1 1/2 c. minced suet
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda A few minced cherries if you like

Инструкции

Mix all the above in a large mixing bowl. Fill 3 - 1 qt preserving jars about 1/2 to 3/4 full to allow for rising. Seal and steam in a preserving kettle for 3 hrs.
