Today I'm on my way to spend a few days with my grand-kids.

Mom and Dad are going to enjoy some "alone" time..

On a "Winter Weekend Getaway for 2."

I always bring my grand-kids a treat...so

Today I'm going to bring some

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies~

Why?

Because who doesn't like Peanut Butter and Chocolate together??

Stop on by Bob and Kim.....I'll save you some cookies~

• 1 cup butter, room temperature
• 1-1/3 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 t vanilla extract
• 2 cups flour
• 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 3/4 t baking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 10 oz bag peanut butter chips
• Preheat oven to 350°
• In a large bowl cream butter and sugar with an electric mixed until fluffy
• Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat well
• Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt
• Gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture
• Beat well
• Fold in peanut butter chips
• Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet

Bake for 8-10 minutes

Cool slightly

Remove to wire racks
