This is a rich, dark chocolate topping or decoration that has lots of uses. It can be whipped as filling or icing, or just poured over whatever cake you like.

  • 1 1/2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 6 Tbsp. Butter (No Substitutions)
  • 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream

  1. In 1-quart saucepan, heat ingredients over low heat, stirring frequently, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Refrigerate about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  2. Tip: You can easily use white chocolate in place of the semi-sweet.
