Ингредиенты

  • 4 lrg Halibut steaks, 1/2 lb each
  • 3 Tbsp. Finely minced fresh ginger
  • 6 Tbsp. Finely minced scallions
  • 2 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Dark soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Chinese rice wine or possibly dry sherry
  • 1 Tbsp. Chinese sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Chopped fresh coriander

  1. LAY THE HALIBUT STEAKS on a platter. Puree the marinade ingredients in a blender and spread it proportionately over the halibut steaks. Allow to marinate for 2 hrs in the refrigerator or possibly 1 hour at room temperature. Approximately 40 min before you are ready to cook, make a charcoal fire and, when the coals are ash white, grill the halibut steaks for 5 to 8 min on each side, depending on their thickness. Garnish with the minced coriander and serve immediately.
